Day 77: Make a Shiny New Schedule

Sundays focus on enrichment for the mind, alternating between right brain creativity, left brain logic/education, and general acts of personal positivity.

Important Note: Today's theme is something I had to take to heart myself after feeling overwhelmed lately. I realized some things had to be put aside, and I'm sad to say this blog is one of them. I will not be posting new daily challenges for the foreseeable future, but I encourage you to keep going with positivity! This blog will still be here, with a year plus 77 days' worth of challenges. Pick a post at random and follow it each day.

Today's Positivity activity:  Get organized with a new planner*/daily schedule.

One thing that's easy to get away from when you've been super busy, feeling depressed/overwhelmed, or both is your daily schedule. Sometimes, the routine just feels too bogged down, and we give up. Making a fresh start can give a boost--and motivation to get more of the things done that make one feel accomplished at the end of the day.

*I highly recommend Passion Planner for this. You can download loose pages for free and put them in a notebook, or purchase one already bound.

Day 74: Walk 10,000 Steps

Thursdays are all about health and nutrition positivity!
Today's Positivity activity: Walk 10,000 steps
Today's challenge is to get up and walk! Exercise is great for health and positivity. A simple pedometer, phone app, or wrist device can help keep track of activity.

Does 10,000 steps sound too daunting? Have no device to monitor progress? Set a smaller goal for yourself--say 5,000 steps or 30 minutes. (And as with any exercise program, it's a good idea to check with your doctor when altering your activity level.)

Day 73: Clean Out Your Purse

Wednesdays are all about household positivity! Cleaning, clearing, organizing, and embellishing...your living space needs a boost of TLC too!

Day 72: Enjoy Soothing Tibetan Singing Bowls

Tuesdays are all about ambiance, or boosting positivity by adding something nice to your environment at home and/or at work.

Today's Positivity activity: Today's ambiance features 6 hours of  tibetan singing bowls coupled with some peaceful imagery. Great to pop up on the big screen in the living room or, as I like to do, on the tablet at work.
