Day 232: Share a Signature Recipe

Posted by J at 6:00 AM

Today's Positivity activity: Share the recipe for your favorite "signature" dish with friends, family, or social media.

Do this instead of:  30 min of random web patrol

Are you a whiz at baking? Does your chili con carne win rave reviews? Write up the recipe, complete with your personal tips for what makes it so fab, and take copies to work, hand out to friends, or share it online. Better yet, have a friend over and make the recipe together!

The Results:  Today I decided to make fudge to share with the family, and I intended to teach my daughter how to make it but she had plans to do birthday shopping with dad and then to do an iPad meetup with friends! So, instead I'm posting this fab recipe right here.

Two Ingredient Fudge
Ingredients:

1 1/2 bags chocolate chips (I use milk chocolate, but semisweet works great too. Also, this works well if you substitute the 1/2 bag with peanut butter chips)
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Directions:

Heat chocolate chips and milk together in a heavy saucepan over very low heat, stirring frequently. When chips are melted and everything is combined, pour into greased 9" pan and chill until firm. Cut into squares.
