Day 16 -EMDR to Remove Negative Thinking

Today's Positivity activity:  use generalized EMDR videos to help redirect negative thinking. (*Important Note)
Do this instead of: viewing TV shows or using other electronic devices/distractions in the hour before sleep.
This has proven thus far one of the most effective ways of calming negative thoughts and redirecting me to the positive. The benefit is greater the more days I use it, as it has a cumulative effect while the new messages "take root".

*EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a method of retraining thoughts by forming new neural pathways. The general EMDR video shown above can be used safely and easily by anyone. However, formal EMDR treatment for specific issues such as PTSD should ONLY be performed under the guidance of a licensed and experienced professional.
