The mood stabilizing, relaxing effects of fish aquariums are well documented--hence their widespread use in dentist's waiting rooms, LOL. Obviously, a real aquarium would be even better, but as I don't have ready access to one, I figure a nice virtual aquarium would provide a reasonable substitute.
This was very soothing, and I found that doing EMDR before watching the aquarium made the exercise even better.
