Smiling offers benefits to our subconscious, not to mention it can brighten other people's day. When I'm busy at work and focused on doing my job, my "I am concentrating" face can come off as RBF (Resting Bitch Face). Today I'll try to really practice turning that accidental frown upside down.
Wow, if there was ever a day that this challenge would prove to be, well, a challenge, it was today! After a morning of texts back and forth regarding my mom being in the hospital, it was an absolutely crazy shift at work. Yet I kept reminding myself about the challenge, smiled as much as I could, and went a step farther by posting little thank-you notes to my coworkers on the bulletin board. A lot of team effort went into getting us through the day. :)
