Day 323: Find Your Magical Happy Place

Today's Positivity activity:  Create a serene, happy place to visit whenever you need a stress break.
Do This Instead of: 30 minutes of random web patrol
This is something we did this past week for my daughter's health and wellness class, and it occurred to me that it would be a good exercise for the blog. Take a moment to envision a place. It can be very real, a place you love, or one you want to visit. Draw this place (it doesn't matter if you don't feel you have much art skill), or create a collage/image such as the one shown here. Spend a few minutes making this as realistic as you can.

The next time you need to de-stress, sit comfortably and take a few deep breaths. Close your eyes and see your "magical happy place". Walk around in it. Notice all the small details that make up your special place. Feel sunshine on your face, or starshine at your back. Hear the gentle breeze or the trickle of water. The more senses you can employ, the better. Enjoy!
